Data Center
Ask the other guys if you can see their data center and you might have to go to another state. Or worse yet, their "data center" might be housed on a manager's desk and use for the competitive office video game matches. SitesNow's data center is on site so that we can maintain the integrity of your data. There's no one to blame but us if something happens. Back in the mid- to late-nineties we tried co-locating with other companies and it just doesn't work.
We use Dell servers with a Cisco powered network in our data center. We utilize a three-stage data back-up process so that your content is saved in three different places. We also have redundant power and redundant cooling to ensure that there are no hiccups in the event of an extended power outage. Both AT&T and Sprint provide redundant connectivity in order to guarantee there isn't a network interruption. We constantly replace equipment as it ages so we minimize downtime and provide quality service to our customers.
Having our own data center also allows us to offer enhanced, custom services to our clients. We are able to provide a variety of custom e-mail and network services. We extend managed exchange hosting in order to bring an enterprise-class e-mail system to small businesses.
As a SitesNow client your site is hosted on a segregated network that is physically separate from any shared system - it's locked down like Fort Knox. No outside access to these servers is offered under any circumstances. We built our own data center so that we can ensure this kind of security and back-up protection would be available to our clients. Our data center is like our baby - it wakes us up at 3 a.m. and we take care of its needs. We wouldn't have it any other way.
