Receive email from your company's own domain name. DNS Hosting is always free with SNDataCenter Hosted Exchange accounts. You can also choose a custom sitesnow.net sub-domain based on availablity. (Example: @mycompany.sitesnow.net)
Personal and Shared Calendars
Track your own schedule or use calendar sharing to check a co-worker's availability to attend meetings and events before scheduling. You can also create shared calendars in Public Folders for scheduling things such as current projects, conference rooms, resources and more.
Contacts
Keep your contacts and address book in a single centralized location accessible from anywhere in the world. You can also create shared contact lists in Public Folders for use in storing things like Customer Addresses, Donor Lists, Vendors and any other type of contact that you need your team to access.
Task Management
Assign tasks to yourself or co-workers anytime, anywhere. Tasking along with e-mail helps busy business owners and managers keep track of operations easily.
SPAM and Virus Protection
Included with the SNDataCenter Hosted Exchange service is an active, realtime virus and SPAM filter. Mail is scanned and threats eliminated prior to reaching the Exchange Server. SNDataCenter Email Security services are continuously updated to provide the highest level of safety against continuously evolving online threats.
Outlook Web Access 2003
For users who are traveling or don't have access to rich communications tools like Microsoft Outlook, the SNDataCenter Hosted Exchange service includes the use of Microsoft Outlook Web Access 2003. Outlook Web Access (OWA) is a full-featured e-mail client similar to Microsoft Outlook 2003. OWA gives the end-user access to their company's e-mail, calendars, contacts, tasks, public folders and other business resources from a web browser.
Manage Large Attachments
All SNDataCenter Hosted Exchange servers are configured to allow the sending and receiving of large attachments (Messages up to 40MB).
Includes Microsoft Outlook 2003
Unlock the FULL functionality of Microsoft Outlook 97, 2000, 2002(XP) and 2003 with the SNDataCenter service. Additionally, the SNDataCenter Hosted Exchange service offers enhanced support of Outlook 2003. The data compression that Exchange Server 2003 performs on the server also helps client performance by reducing the traffic between Outlook 2003 and the SNDataCenter Hosted Exchange service.
No License Fees
With SNDataCenter Hosted Exchange, you don't need to track server or user CALs (Client Access Licenses); everything you need is included in one low monthly mailbox fee.
Each user registered with the SNDataCenter Hosted Exchange ervice is assigned a Subscriber Access License (SAL) from Microsoft. This license includes use of both the SNDataCenter service as well as use of Outlook software which can be ordered for the price of shipping. Your Subscriber Access License includes free upgrades to future versions of Microsoft Exchange Server.
Disaster Recovery Backups
SNDataCenter Hosted Exchange has a comprehensive disaster recovery plan including nightly disaster recovery backups.
